About

A bit about me:

I write light, trope-filled, representative, contemporary romances and mysteries. My favorite types of stories are small towns and summer camps where almost all the characters are LGBTQIA. I personally identify as non-binary and asexual and want to see more romances featuring folks on the ace spectrum. I write characters with big personalities and my style has been called “witty” by at least one reader who isn’t a family member.

By day I work as a public librarian, aka “punk ass book jockey” (Leslie Knope, Parks and Recreation). I have one cat with a nervous condition and another who may be a sociopath. My desert island TV show is Buffy the Vampire Slayer. If the world were about to end I’d call the Doctor. I think Aquaman is cool and campy and don’t care that he’s an unpopular superhero.

I have a newsletter I enjoy writing and consistently run out of time to finish. Most of my social media interaction is on Instagram, so if you want to keep up with my goings on, that’s the place to follow me. Also, if you’re a fan of book/movie recommendations, parties you can attend in your PJs, and giveaways, I invite you to join my Facebook reader group, Celia’s Sensation Seekers.
